Context
Shipping a parcel or having someone buy in France from Africa too often goes through informal channels: quotes by phone, unsafe payments, no visibility on the journey. Sambaty industrializes this service for 16 countries in West and Central Africa.
The challenge
Model 5 distinct logistics services (express shipping, cargo, freight by inventory, delegated purchasing, VAT refund), each with its own pricing engine (volumetric weight, per-destination coefficient, customs scale), a step-based order journey and payment methods suited to Africa.
The solution
I designed and built the complete platform in Next.js and Prisma/PostgreSQL: a multi-criteria quote engine, an order and payment flow (Stripe + Orange Money), Mondial Relay drop-off, real-time client tracking and a full back-office (orders, payments, PDF documents, KYC, B2B PRO program).
